The Regional Technical Training Center (RTTC) is a 501©3 nonprofit workforce development agency. Founded in 1994, and located on the former Navel Supply Center Base at 760 Maritime Street, Oakland, Ca. 94607, we work in collaboration with industry, education, and government to provide technical skills training and job placements for low income, unemployed, and welfare recipients.

RTTC is approved by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary & Vocational Education Department to provide career-track job training in biotechnology, information technology, customer service, allied health, and retail.

RTTC serves a diverse population of low-income job seekers who have barriers to employment such as homelessness, limited English, little or no work experience and individuals in recovery programs who have a sincere desire to re-enter the workforce. Depending on the degree of the barrier, most are addressable with proper support, training and access to real job opportunities. Our challenge is to define and achieve excellence in their lives, to reach for and obtain the American dream.

Wrapped in the RTTC workforce development concept is a combination of technical, cognitive, organizational, and communication skills training needed to succeed in a high performance organization in the technical business sector.

Please consider a generous contribution of $5.00 to $500,000 or even more to help us raise the $5 million we need to build a state-of-the-art workforce development center and expand training to meet the demands of industry. These difficult times demand that we all rise up to do our part. So many of the world’s challenges and their solutions will be the result of the aggregate effect of those who can afford to help other.

If at all possible please make a special tax-deductible contribution payable to Regional Technical Training Center.

The Board if Directors wishes to thank you for investing in quality education and job training.

Sincerely,
Otis Jones, Attorney
